How can
teachers prepare students?
Teachers are

located at the entrance and exit of The Cutaway – please refer to the venue
map.
On the

Check
you’ve brought your confirmation email plus pencils and notepads for all
students. Plan to
arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time. On arrival,
front of house staff will meet you at the entrance of the Cutaway to confirm
your visit and schedule, and provide information such as where to store your
school bags on site.
Risk
assessment
The WHS Act
and Regulation require schools and other education entities organising excursions to use
risk management to ensure the health and safety of students, staff and
excursion volunteers. Risk management supports better decision making by
contributing to a greater insight into the potential risks and their impacts.
To assist
teachers in preparing their own risk assessments, Sydney Festival has prepared venue and safety information documents for Frida Kahlo: The Life of an Icon, which answer all questions required by the Department of Education and Training.
What should teachers bring?
