Game. Set. Match.
(Australia)
A big serve of laughs with a brutal backhand.
Nothing is as it seems in this dark dramedy written by award-winning actor and proud Gamilaroi woman Megan Wilding (Blackie Blackie Brown, Mystery Road), who also stars in the lead role as Ray. On the opposite side of the court, she faces Joshua, played by Rick Davies (Offspring, Apple Cider Vinegar), a young man lost in the shadow cast by his mother’s fame as a tennis legend.
In the wake of his mother's funeral, Ray and Josh hit it off, and over one boozy night during the Australian Open, what lies between them comes to a head. Is this a game of love or revenge? Whether the stakes are romance or life and death, this will go right down to the wire. Settle in for a riveting match.
