McIver's Ladies Baths

Located in Coogee, McIver’s Ladies Baths is a historic, women‑and‑children‑only rock‑pool perched on a cliff platform just south of Coogee Beach.

Established formally in 1876 (with earlier use by women and children from the 1830s), it remains the only continuous‑use female‑exclusive ocean pool in Australia.

The Baths feature panoramic ocean views, native coastal vegetation, a sun‑terrace, change rooms and amenities—delivering a peaceful and private seaside swimming experience.
