Sydney Festival acknowledges the profound grief, shock and distress within the Jewish community, and more broadly across the city, following the terrorist attack in Bondi. We unequivocally condemn violence, antisemitism, racism and hatred in all forms.

We recognise that the festival will be presented to a city still grieving from the recent atrocity, and we fully acknowledge the gravity of this moment and the responsibility we carry as a public institution.

The Festival has taken active steps to ensure our entire program is presented thoughtfully and responsibly, with careful consideration for the wellbeing of the entire community.
