Dance Reflections
by Van Cleef & Arpels

New York. London. Shanghai. Now: Sydney.

This summer, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels and Sydney Festival present a dazzling array of the world’s most visionary dance-makers. You don’t have to fly to Europe to see the latest work from leading choreographers: they are here, exclusively in the best city (hey, that’s us), from The Cutaway to Powerhouse Parramatta, Carriageworks to the Sydney Opera House, Seymour Centre to the Art Gallery NSW. Groove to house, gape at awe-inspiring aerial acrobatics, rave with queer futurists marching to their own beat; let yourself be swept up in the primal joy of collective movement.

You’re not just here to watch. You can be part of it, too. More than a dozen workshops led by these acclaimed choreographers—who work with stars like Beyoncé, Madonna, and Rosalia—will be held at the Sydney Dance Theatre, plus a series of deep-dive talks for the industry experts and movement-curious alike. About Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels

About Dance Reflections by
Van Cleef & Arpels

Founded in 2020, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is guided by the values of creation, transmission and education. Its mission is to support artists and institutions in sharing choreographic heritage while encouraging new productions.

Since its launch, Dance Reflections has accompanied numerous companies in their creations as well as multiple institutions in the presentation of their works on the international stage. The programme is reinforced each year by major events, such as the Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels Festival. In addition to supporting the creation and promotion of choreographic works, Dance Reflections places increasing importance on issues of transmission and education.

With its partners, the initiative organises residencies for professional dancers as well as actions to raise awareness of choreographic culture, open to all. Its network, now consisting of more than 70 partners from 17 different countries, continues to grow with each project.
