Seymour Centre

Plan your trip

Seymour Centre is the University of Sydney's multi-venue performing arts centre; one of Sydney's cultural assets, sitting at the heart of a world-leading university and one of the most diverse communities in Australia. We present and produce bold, public-facing work that gives creative expression to the University's core values. We seek to connect with wide-reaching, diverse audiences through our programming; provoking thought, encouraging collaboration and creativity, and building Seymour into a place of belonging. We produce performances, host major festivals including Sydney Festival, support the independent arts sector, invest in arts education for schools, and connect closely with the thinking of the University of Sydney's leading minds.

Limited free parking is available at the University of Sydney or in the surrounding streets. There are often multiple events occurring at Seymour Centre and the University of Sydney and parking can be busy during peak hours and on weekends. We suggest allowing enough time to find suitable parking prior to your event start time. The use of public transport is also highly recommended as the Shepherd St car park and surrounding areas are often full especially if you are attending a weekday matinee.
