Galangoor djali!
As a proud Butchulla man, platforming Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and making space for our stories to be told is an honour, while being in service to these lands and their communities is a privilege I strive to carry with respect.
This program emerged from a year of deep listening: to Country, Elders, artists and community. Sydney is a place where stories from many Countries meet. When division feels louder than understanding, Blak Out asks us to gather with curiosity, generosity and willingness to listen.
