Sustainable Garden
Local artists descend upon Parramatta and transform Connection Arcade into an immersive world of vivid flowers, raucous plants and unexpected structures made from re-used and recycled materials.
With your help, the installation will literally ‘grow' across a ten day period. Bring us your unwanted Christmas wrapping, plastic bags and bottles, and watch them grow in our organic wonderland. Watch as the atrium evolves into a greenhouse, with sun streaming through and vegetation spilling out into the Mall.
Get involved in a daily craft workshop, and under the guidance of the artists, make flowers, vines and other items to include in this living, breathing artwork within a vibrant garden environment.
