SYDNEY FESTIVAL AND UNIVERSITY OF SYDNEY JOIN FORCES

A dynamic new partnership is being forged between Sydney Festival and the University of Sydney for the next three years, 2010 to 2012. The University will form a central part of a new inner west hub for the Festival, which will open in January 2010.

OPTIMISM SYDNEY BOUND

Sydney Festival is delighted to collaborate with Malthouse Theatre, Edinburgh Festival and Sydney Theatre Company on the commissioning and World Premiere season of Optimism, based on Voltaire's Candide, to be directed by Malthouse Artistic Director Michael Kantor and starring Frank Woodley.
