Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre
The Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre in Penrith is situated between the Council Chambers and Penrith Plaza. The Box Office is located on the ground floor near the bar and lift.
In 2011, Sydney Festival is presenting Hanggai in The Joan's Richard Bonynge Concert Hall.
Access
Accessible parking is available in the Penrith City Council parking adjacent to the Centre. When utilising this parking there are no stairs to navigate. Within the Centre, all venues are easily accessible for wheelchair access and there is an elevator on the ground floor for patrons going to Level 1 (the Q Theatre Foyer) and Level 2 (Studios). Wheelchair accessible seating is also available within the Q Theatre and Concert Hall. Please discuss your needs with our box office when booking your tickets.
Public Transport
Train - City Rail trains and Blue Mountains services arrive at and depart from Penrith Station. The Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre is a short five minute walk from Penrith Station via Penrith Plaza.

Car Parking
Travelling from Sydney, take the Mulgoa Road exit from the M4. Continue along Mulgoa Road and turn into High Street. Travel time from Sydney CBD can vary. Generally, the trip by car takes an hour from the CBD.
Off-street parking is available in the Penrith Civic Centre car park at Penrith City Council (limited and subject to change), Westfield Penrith Plaza car park (subject to Westfields parking terms and conditions) and Union Road car park (opposite the Centre and is free all day and evening).
The closest Secure carpark station is located at Nepean Hospital Corner Parker and Derby Streets, Penrith.
