Legendary Polish jazz trumpeter Tomasz Stanko is at the peak of his powers. One of ECM’s leading recording artists, Stanko’s smouldering improvisations and grainy toned trumpet playing have placed him at the forefront of international jazz.

Having collaborated with some of the world’s best jazz musicians, Stanko also has an impressive record as a talent scout and mentor. His latest ensemble is no exception, featuring some of the hottest young talents on the Scandinavian jazz scene: pianist Alexi Tuomarila and drummer Olavi Louhivuori from Finland, and bassist Anders Christensen and guitarist Jakob Bro from Denmark.
