Built in the 1930s, Coney Island is Sydney’s original and heritage-listed Funny Land. With walls adorning numerous Arthur Barton original artworks, protected and standing the test of time, Coney Island is unlike any other destination in the world. Getting Here

Luna Park is easily accessible through several forms of transport. Catching public transport? Plan your trip with the trip planner or take a look at the options below.

CAR

Driving from the Warringah Expressway: take the North Sydney exit and then follow signs to Kirribilli. Proceed down Broughton Street, turn right into Fitzroy Street and left at roundabout into Alfred Street South. Turn right into Dind Street, left for Northcliff Street to entry the Luna Park Car Park located at the bottom of the street.

Driving north over Sydney Harbour Bridge: take the first exit on left after the bridge (do NOT come via Harbour Tunnel). At the first round about, turn right onto Dind Street, then taking the first left turn at Northcliff Street for the Luna Park Car Park.

BUS

Sydney state transit bus routes frequently pass nearby North Sydney Station and/or terminate at Milsons Point (just a five minute stroll from Luna Park Sydney), they are a fast, easy and picturesque way to get here.

TRAIN

Milsons Point station is the closest train station to Luna Park Sydney. Travelling north, Milsons Point Station is the first stop after Wynyard station in the CBD. Travelling south it is immediately after North Sydney Station.

Milsons Point Station can be found on both the ‘T1 North Shore & Western Line’ and 'T9 Northern Line'. From the station Luna Park Sydney is a 5 minute stroll downhill towards the water.

FERRY

Milsons Point Wharf is situated right in front of the iconic Luna Park Sydney face, please check the Transport NSW timetables for more details to plan your trip.

NOTE: Milsons Point Wharf is wheelchair accessible.

Premier cruise company Captain Cook Cruises also operates to Luna Park, with a choice of ferries from Circular Quay on a 24-hour Hop On Hop Off Harbour Explorer, visiting up to 9 must-see destinations, including Luna Park Sydney.
