Not quite sure where to start with the 2019 Sydney Festival music program? We don't blame you – it's pretty diverse, stretching from feminist pop icon Neneh Cherry to future pop star Nakhane, authentic Cuban mambo band Orquesta Akokán, an all-female "desert blues" band from North Africa (Les Filles de Illighadad), a whole stack of ambient composers in an art gallery (Masters of modern sound), and much more.
