Gotye's Jean-Jacques Perry Tribute show honoured at the 2018 Helpmann Awards for Best Australian Contemporary Concert.
We're thrilled that 2018 Sydney Festival and MONA FOMA work, Gotye Presents a Tribute to Jean-Jacques Perrey; won the award for Best Australian Contemporary Concert at the 2018 Helpmann Awards, over nominees Midnight Oil, Symphonica with Armand Van Helden, and Gang of Youths. In his acceptance speech, Gotye encouraged a deeper dive into medical-student-turned-keyboard-whizz, Jean-Jacques Perrey, and quoted his "spiritual grandfather" saying, "keep smiling, don't forget to be happy."
