Early Release Tickets

Not long to go now.... we announce the full Sydney Festival program tomorrow, Tuesday October 23.

But who doesn't like a sneak peek? Bold, innovative and exciting, these three productions represent the diversity of what's in store for 2013. The magic of Handel meets the punk of Vivienne Westwood in Semele Walk; the circus explodes with Circolombia's high energy acrobatics in URBAN; and David Byrne & St. Vincent present their outstanding collaboration Love This Giant backed by a brass band.

Early release tickets to these three shows on sale now.

We've also lifted the lid on our Parramatta program. We welcome the Salon Perdu Spiegeltent to the Parramatta Festival Garden. Filling the tent with music, you'll find Lianne La Havas, Norman Blake and Joe Pernice, yMusic, Leah Flanagan and Saskwatch. The boys from Briefs are also back to close the tent in style.

The heart of Parramatta is once again transformed for our Parra Opening Party, with activities and events all throughout the day, culminating in performances from the Kashmere Stage Band and Rokia Traoré at The Parade Ground @ Old King's School. And to wrap up our Festival in Parramatta, join us for under the stars for Archie Roach's Into The Bloodstream.

That's just the start of what we've got in store for 2013, check back tomorrow when all will be revealed!

The Parade Ground @ Old King's School
Archie Roach is joined by a 13-piece music ensemble and a 10-voice gospel choir for an inspiring and soulful free performance to close this year's Festival in Parramatta.
State Theatre
Happenstance brought David Byrne (ex Talking Heads) and St. Vincent (aka Annie Clark) together, but their new collaboration Love This Giant feels more like fate.
Parramatta CBD
The heart of Parramatta is transformed into an extravaganza that welcomes everyone to experience some of Sydney Festival's best shows.
Salon Perdu Spiegeltent
Catch Leah Flanagan, Lianne La Havas, Norman Blake & Joe Pernice, Saskwatch and yMusic in the Parramatta Festival Garden.
Sydney Town Hall
Take a walk on the wild side as high heels, billowing gowns and Handel collide in spectacular fashion. Vivienne Westwood's outrageous costumes find a dramatic outlet in this bold take on Handel's Semele.
Riverside Theatres
The visceral rawness, brazen attitude and high-voltage energy of Circolombia has put a rocket under contemporary circus.
