"Come for the balloons, stay for the space-rock anthems about the inevitability of oblivion"
The Guardian

Take all the things you know and love about The Flaming Lips – the psychedelic pop anthems, the beamed-from-outer-space live shows, and the feelings of joy and goodwill towards your fellow humans, creatures and Martians – and now imagine all of this happening in The Domain, for free. It’s basically a recipe for your best summer music experience ever, and it’s open to everyone.

Over the course of three decades, Wayne Coyne’s Oklahoma crew has proven itself a musical force to be reckoned with, offering cult favourites like ‘She Don’t Use Jelly’ alongside such chart hits as ‘Do You Realize??’ and live performances that are simply unrivaled. Come celebrate Sydney Festival’s 40th summer at this glorious spectacle under the stars.
