Carriageworks

Access

Carriageworks is wheelchair accessible. There is a wheelchair ramp and level access at all entrances. Level access and disabled seating available in all venues. Toilets are fully accessible.

We make every effort to ensure Sydney Festival events are accessible to our whole audience. To enable us to determine your requirements and assist you fully we are unable to offer this service online.

Public Transport

Train: Carriageworks is a short walk from Redfern (approx 8 minute walk), Macdonaldtown (approx 10 minute walk) or Newtown (approx 15 minute walk) train stations.

Bus: services depart from the bus stop on the corner of Codrington Street and City Road, which is a five minute walk from Carriageworks. Buses: 422, 423, 426, 428, 370, 352.

Bicycles

There are bike lanes on surrounding streets and plenty of free bike racks on site.

Car Parking

There are limited parking spaces available on site, free of charge. The parking is timed, 3 hour parking.

Enter at 229 Wilson Street, opposite Queen Street.
Follow the driveway around to the left, and then follow the signs to the car park and loading dock.

Carriageworks is located close to Sydney University, the Seymour Centre, and Australian Technology Park.  Casual parking is available at these sites for a fee.
