Olof Arnalds

‘Music that populates the dreams of angels.’  Rolling Stone

Ólöf Arnalds is one of Iceland’s most promising rising stars. While classically trained on the violin and self-taught on viola, guitar and charango, her most distinguishing feature is her voice. Otherworldly and celestial, her singing is fragile and timeless.

A magnetic live performer, Arnalds uses humour, charm and the delicacy of her songs to win audiences around the world. Hers is a refreshing folk-driven sound with sparsely plucked instrumental accompaniment and vocals sung in both English and Icelandic.

Arnalds has collaborated with Icelandic icons Björk and Sigur Rós and earned her touring stripes as a member of Múm.
