Live is an intimate video study of the art of performing. It captures more than 20 of the world's best singers and musicians performing a song of their choice in stark simplicity on film and is presented as a large-scale video installation in the Lower Town Hall.

Live features filmed performances from Jarvis Cocker, Peaches, Warren Ellis, Feist, Gareth Liddiard, Martha Wainwright, Rufus Wainwright, Juliette Lewis, Kim Salmon, Róisín Murphy, Lisa Kekeula (The Bellrays), Jimmy Little, Ron Peno, Jim James (My Morning Jacket), Dan Kelly, Laura Jean, Clare Bowditch, Julian Hamilton (The Presets), Kram (Spiderbait) and Sarah Blasko.

To celebrate the opening of Live, you can be among the first to experience the installation, and see solo performances by Gareth Liddiard (The Drones), Sarah Blasko, Kram (Spiderbait) and Laura Jean. See these stellar Australian musicians perform live while they are being filmed and simultaneously projected larger-than-life across four giant screens.
