The State Theatre is a traditional theatre located in the heart of the Sydney CBD. The State Theatre has hosted some of Sydney Festival's biggest acts in recent years. All seating in the State Theatre is reserved seating.

Restaurants and Bars
The State Theatre operates bar facilities on each level of the theatre. Bars offer a full range of beers, wines and spirits whilst the candy bar on the ground floor offers a selection of sweets and snack foods. All food and beverage facilities are open approximately one hour prior to performance and during intervals. There are also several restaurants located on Pitt Street, within walking distance of the State Theatre.
Public Transport
The State Theatre is within walking distance of major bus routes on George Street, as well as Town Hall and St James train stations. It is also less than 1km walk from the ferry terminals at Circular Quay.

Car Parking
Secure Parking (Kings) offers patrons discounted parking rates at the 383 Kent Street car park, located between King and Market Streets. Please note that car parking tickets must be validated by the State Theatre to be eligible for the discount.
This discount is only available to patrons on the day of the performance attended and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Parking is subject to normal terms and conditions as displayed throughout the carpark and parking is subject to availability.
