The Seymour Centre is a performing arts centre housing three performance venues (the York Theatre, the Everest Theatre and the Downstairs Theatre), cafe, bars, expansive foyers and gallery space. Performances in the theatres range from concerts and theatre presentations to dance, opera and performances for young audiences.
York Theatre
The York Theatre is the largest theatre in the centre and has a seating capacity of 788 in a semi-circular configuration. The theatre offers an exceptional intimacy between performers and audiences. Seating in the York Theatre may be general admission or reserved seating.
Everest Theatre
The Everest Theatre was designed for the presentation of musical events and incorporates variable acoustic features to provide optimum sound quality. Seating in the Everest Theatre is general admission.
Downstairs Theatre
The Downstairs Theatre is a small, informal studio-style theatre. The seating in the Downstairs Theatre is general admission.

Restaurants and Bars
The Seymour Centre has refreshments available on each level, including a coffee cart in the main foyer. The Centre also operates a Gourmet BBQ in the front courtyard opposite the main entrance, from one and a half hours prior to evening performances. Public Transport
Train - The closest train station to the Seymour Centre is Central Station (patrons can then catch a bus or walk up Broadway, and turn left onto City Road), or Redfern Station (patrons can walk to the Centre via Lawson Street and Ivy Street).
Bus - Buses 422, 423, 426 or 428 depart from bus stand A at Circular Quay train station, passing via Castlereagh Street, Railway Square, and Central station.

Car Parking
