Medeski, Martin and Wood are renowned for the adventurous detours and spontaneous creativity of their live performances. Experience the virtuosic precision and long-honed chemistry between three musicians as they strip their sound right back for this intimate acoustic performance.
In a career spanning almost 20 years, the New York trio have effortlessly straddled the divide between accessible groove-oriented jazz and avant-garde improvisation. Pushing the boundaries of jazz, their sound is influenced by hip hop, soul, funk and the jam bands of the 1960s.
