'Marling enraptures live... with a clutch of songs so pure of emotion and soul that they couldn’t remain a secret for long.' - Clash Magazine
Singer-songwriter Laura Marling is a rising star on the indie-folk scene. Combining a compelling yet husky voice, gently picked acoustic guitar and a talent for crafting bittersweet folk songs in the tradition of Joni Mitchell, Marling was only 18 years old when her acclaimed debut album Alas, I Cannot Swim was nominated for the prestigious Mercury Music Prize in 2008.
With a reputation for ‘pin-drop’ live performances, Marling and her band come to Sydney fresh from a sold-out performance at Royal Festival Hall in London and a US tour.
