The Scope - Full Program Announced

What better way to begin your 2010 than with a series of stimulating and meaningful discussions about hopes and dreams for the New Year and beyond? A series of enriching public talks, The Scope, provides a forum where you can join in conversations about contemporary life in Australia with a dynamic mix of artists, academics, leaders, thinkers and dreamers.

The 5th Pacific Thought Symposium Bringing Forth the Ancestors: Different views and cultural philosophies from the Pacific Region will be shared between performances of Tempest: without a body. FREE.
Hope 2010 – Crisis, Catharsis, Renewal: Wendy Harmer asks six remarkable speakers, including Noel Pearson, Eva Cox AO and Peter Sellars, to share the stage and speak from the heart as they look to the year ahead.
Are We Happy Yet?: Join us for a discussion on the nature of human happiness, led by Professor Geoff Gallop.
Microscope – Festival artists in conversation with Caroline Baum: Illuminating the Festival experience, Festival artists will offer insights into their creations. FREE.
