We’re excited to announce the launch of the Optus Festival Buddy – the first Mobile Site and iPhone application (FREE to download from the iTunes App Store) built by Optus for Sydney Festival! You’ll now be able to get all of your Festival event info, multimedia and more on your phone.

The Optus Festival Buddy is a simple, easy-to-use pocket guide to all the events in this year’s Festival. You can view and create your very own Festival planner, read event descriptions and reviews, view trailers and image galleries, purchase tickets and interact with each event on your favourite social networks. There is also venue information (including maps, locations, directions and public transport details), event search by category and an app-load more.
