Biography - Caroline Baum

Caroline Baum

Caroline Baum is a respected journalist and broadcaster. Born and educated in the UK she began her career at the BBC before coming to Australia in 1984. A former features editor of Vogue Australia and arts editor of the Melbourne Sunday Herald, she was the founding editor of Good Reading magazine.

Caroline presented ABC TV's popular books show Between the Lines and Foxtel's Talking Books. She co-wrote and produced the documentary In Search of Bony for SBS TV and is currently developing several projects for television. She has been a judge of the Kibble awards for life writing, an executive producer at Radio National and is regularly invited to host public talks at major festivals. 

Caroline is a contributor to several national publications and has also had exhibitions of her photography. She lives on the south coast of NSW.
