Sydney Philharmonic Chorus

Roaming through the city streets you may come across Gramophone Man in his homemade music machine!  A safari-suited character playing his favourite old '78s on a wind-up gramophone, he’s jaunty and hard to miss... listen for the sounds of Ella Fitzgerald, Fats Waller, Bing Crosby or yodelling, birdcall and bush ballad, we can never be sure.

An original eccentric to enhance your Festival First Night.

Performances of this event will occur between 7pm and 11pm around Macquarie St and the CBD. Be on the look out to catch Gramophone Man in action.
