A tale of the everyday blown to epic proportions, Nature Theater of Oklahoma presents No Dice, an abbreviated four-hour version of their legendary eleven-hour melodramatic spectacle.
Seven fearless souls take 100 hours of taped phone conversations conducted with friends, family and colleagues and, through the conventions of amateur dinner theatre, transform them into a mighty, sweaty and exhilarating celebration of the struggle of daily life.
Under the direction of Pavol Liska and Kelly Copper, Nature Theater of Oklahoma is at the forefront of the renaissance in downtown New York theatre and performance.

"A clever stunt becomes a high-concept endurance test in Pavol Liska and Kelly Copper’s No Dice ... more" - Time Out
"Over the past several years the Nature Theater of Oklahoma has evolved into one of New York’s most talented ensembles…their shows are smart, witty, highly physical, and eager to twist notions of theatricality.” - The Village Voice (USA)
"No Dice is a tour de force. Its limited, deeply human characters express the grandiose desire to engage the 'universal cosmic murmur.' Instead, they embody it. Resistance is futile." - The New York Times

ALL SOLD OUT! Don't waste time organising your friends, picking which day to go, waiting on hold for the operator (as the online booking was down) etc etc because there are no tickets left for any of the performances. I wish FoS updated the sold out events to save us all a lot of time and effort... For those lucky enough to score tickets, i hope you have an awesome time- enjoy! :) |

Yes, you would love to fix the online for the Festival. We should all encourage the Festival to find a way of doing the Multipack online! As for No Dice, did not agree with the tedious review in the Herald. I am not an actor but was easily able to understand the actor jokes; not an assembly worker but easily able to understand the references. The actors were so alive. Worth going for the M&M dance alone. Venue exhaustingly hot. The woman next to me dripped sweat on me all night. Also, there were four tickets at the door (but I already had mine). |

A rare 10/10 piece of theatre for me - more please!! People should just turn up and see if they can get in - it's worth the effort. I don't think the SMH reviewer was being rude, I did not find the review tedious - he obviously enjoyed himself and was wondering what others might make of it. A rare festival gem. |
